本會名稱為臺灣跨性別醫學學會(以下簡稱本會)。
本會為依法設立、非以營利為目的之公益性社會團體，以增進跨性別醫學相關之研究與發展，促進國內外相關性別醫學機構及團體交流，共同維護性別正義及和諧發展為宗旨。

本會之任務如下，並依醫療衛生專業相關法令規定推動及執行：
一、促進跨性別醫學之研究、教育及相關法律及政策等推動事宜。
二、辦理及協助跨性別醫療品質、就醫環境與臨床實踐和醫療照護政策。
三、辦理有關性別平等之研究、訓練、交流及觀摩、學術演講、研討會、課程等交流活動。
四、參加國際性別醫學學會之相關會議、資訊分享、合作與交流活動。
五、辦理從業之醫事人員性別平等專業教育課程活動。
六、協助建置相關醫療產業資源整合與交流平台。
七、協助提供跨性別家屬醫療諮詢與就醫管道資源。
八、協助提供跨性別臨床相關之醫藥資訊分享及就醫資訊。
九、接受委託辦理與跨性別醫學有關之專案性計畫案。
十、舉辦社會公益慈善活動。
十一、其他符合宗旨及任務等服務事項。

Vision and Mission Statement

The Taiwan Association Transgender Medicine (TATM) is Taiwan’s first medical professional organization dedicated to transgender healthcare.

Role and Importance:

• Bring together domestic experts and scholars to facilitate interdisciplinary academic collaboration and exchange.
• Address and improve transgender-related medical challenges.
• UUpdate the latest domestic and international transgender medical information.
• Serve as a professional advisory body for future legal reforms related to transgender healthcare.
• Debunk misinformation and provide expert opinions.
• Participate in conferences from international gender medicine associations to promote the development of transgender human rights.

Mission statement:

TATM is a legally established, non-profit public interest organization. Our mission is to advance research and development in transgender medicine, foster exchanges with domestic and international gender medicine institutions and organizations, and collectively uphold gender justice and social harmony.

Objectives:

In compliance with relevant medical and healthcare regulations, TATM is committed to the following:

1. Promote transgender medical research, education, and advocate for relevant legal and policy initiatives.
2. Carry out and enhance the quality of transgender healthcare services, medical environments, clinical practices, and healthcare policies.
3. Organize research, training, exchanges, academic lectures, symposiums, and courses on gender equality.
4. Participate in international gender medicine relevant conferences and events, to share information, foster cooperation and exchange.
5. Conduct professional education programs on gender equality for medical professionals.
6. Assist in establishing platforms for exchanging and integrating resources from relevant medical and healthcare industries.
7. Assist in providing medical consultation and healthcare resources for transgender individuals and their family members.
8. Assist in providing transgender-related clinical and pharmaceutical information.
9. Undertake commissioned projects related to transgender medicine.
10. Organize social welfare and charitable activities.
11. Other services aligned with TATM's mission and objectives.
